The story borrows a lot from the manga/anime “So I’m a Spider, So What?”. It doesn’t suffer for that since the original is a good isekai.
The story starts out slowly but gets better quickly. The narrator really adds to the story. The pets Anthony picks up along the way and the ant colony itself make for entertaining reading. I bought the fourth book too.
