While short, Maybe This Time by Cara Bastone was hard for me to get into. Not because of the writing, as Cara is good, but because I despise both sports and poetry. The only thing that kept me in it was Noah Reid, as I adore him in Schitt’s Creek. I also like the idea of wormholes and multiple timelines in our universe. Not because I believe it’s true, per se, but because no one actually knows, which makes it entirely possible.
The entire cast (Zoë Chao, Noah Reid, Josh Hurley, Beata Pozniak, Jim Seybert, Emily Lawrence, Tina Wolstencroft, Petrea Burchard, Joel Simler, Aaron Shedlock, Christian Barillas, Eric Yves Garcia, Alex Picard, Lorrie Grant, and others) does a really great job in telling this story.
