It’s not something seen much in this genre. A weird superhero/game/high fantasy/sci-fi world. I have read and listened to lots of all but the superhero genre, and man did this book mix and match with a fluid grace with big sparkles of absurdity. Can’t give high enough praise for the ability to have all the things coexist with issues.
Fun characters and a MC that leans heavily on those around, even when they don’t realize that are doing it.
10/10, would book again.
