The story is like walking in sticky mud, the main character says the same jokes over and over I get taken out of the story when ever the narrator breaks the 4th wall It doesn’t have any stakes there is no objectives 4 hours in I constantly have to refocus as I space out during the dialogue I’ve listened to many litrpg books and this one takes the cake as the 2nd worst it may seem like the voice actor can put on a good “accent” but his tone never changes from “happy British guy” he’s a ant in a tunnel by himself and he’s as joyful as a spring summer walk when it switches characters to the humans at least they are sort of interesting in that they express different emotions besides happy sarcasm it will probably be impossible to get through the rest of this how is this so highly rated I don’t know my brain is numb from this would not recommend listening to it unless if you need white background noise to fall asleep to
