Well, you know when a book is amazing, when it can take you through a whirlwind of emotions.
It’s crazy how real these situations could be, how detrimental helping could be to you and your family but also understanding empathy.
The stubbornness of some of the characters that all people are good and maybe I’m jaded but their surprise that people could be mean and heartless was nuts.
The frustration of the naivety of some of the characters that puts their own family in danger, the sadness when innocence was lost.
I just hope if any of these situations happen I’m prepared.
