I’ve read a few other books by this author and the plots can be really hit or miss, so I was happy that this book had an intriguing story! I actually cared about what happened to the characters outside of the romance plot.
I always enjoy the narrator Joel Leslie, and this book was no exception. I will note that his (terrible) Australian accent doesn’t detract from the book because he drops it very early in lieu of his (presumably) native British. I didn’t mind at all, but did find it funny
