I am researching bees before aquiring a colony. My goal is to raise bees in a natural, sustainable and clean way, being able to provide good pollination to my area, as well as provide my family with a clean and natural source of honey and beeswax. I was hoping this book would bring some insightful knowledge before I begin my own bee colonies. But a quater way into the book and it’s reading more like a romantic love affair than an insightful source of useful information. Don’t get me wrong, there has been some good info, but it is surrounded by so much emotion and fluff that I can’t stand to listen anymore. This may be a good book for some, but if you are more interested in gaining knowledge and insight to apply to your own beekeeping experince, look elsewhere.
