Franklin Horton is an outstanding writer. Along with Kevin Pierce as the narrator it makes for a FANTABULOUS and THRILLING listen. Mr. Hortons writing transports you into this world were you fall in love with the characters and root for them. All of Mr. Horton’s book series on post apocalyptic life after the world as we know it comes to an end in the US are some of the BEST books I’ve had the privilege of listening to. If you love this genre then please look him up and read or listen to all of his books that take place in the same world. I love listening to Kevin Pierce and have found other books he has narrated because he is just that GREAT!! Hands down DO NOT PASS on this book or any of the others in the world of Mad Mick or Jim Powell from the other series!!
