This book is a culmination of all the previous storylines. New allies and enemies arise, Anthony and his pets level up, the colony becomes more complex and techs up, and the colony faces their most intense challenges yet. War is on their doorstep. Some characters acted in annoying ways, and one particularly terrible twist happens in part because of Anthony having the human emotional maturity of a 15-year-old and taking things for granted. His naivety is a double-edged sword because it keeps him pure and creative, but oh boy… after all the dust settles I can’t wait to hear the next book in the Chrysalis series. I wonder if Anthony will learn from his mistakes?
