Crab is back on the menu, bois!

What a fantastic little crab. I’m a big fan of Rimmel’s Noobtown series and this doesn’t disappoint in the slightest. I love how Rimmel can so easily shift tone from referential humor to suitably dramatic character/narrative building all on the back of gritty, number-crunching grand systems. Always a joy.

This is my first Phil Thron narration and he’s an absolute find to listen to. In particular, I loved how well he played out the between-chapter (start of chapter?) bits.

Only real complaint is the ever dreaded ‘character sheet’ segments. I will preface this by saying this is only a problem in the narrated version as you can’t skip it very easily. In text format Rimmel does a great job of formatting it so that enthusiasts like myself can absorb it at a glance and just skip to the good part, but having to listen to EVERY. SINGLE. TITLE/SKILL/POWER/DESCRIPTION. EVERY. SINGLE. TIME. I love you, Rimmel, please understand.
