If you’re looking for a sweet crime lord meets Street urchin with a heart of gold romance story, then this one is pretty good. The narration is decent enough and all of the characters are pretty well done. Granted it’s not a life-altering story, or anything to write home about, but it’s still a fun afternoon listen. I’d go so far as to listen to the second book in the series just for shits and giggles because the first one was decent enough.
