Read this book for a book club recently. Not one I would have read on my own, so I’m glad to have something to help me find new stuff to read. The premise of this book is decent, if not standard at this point. Think about if 28 Days Later was mixed with Resident Evil with a bit of The Day After Tomorrow sprinkled in for… reasons? Don’t be intimidated by the amount of Chapters. Each is only a couple of pages/few minutes long.

The narrator, Amelia Hugh, did AMAZING keeping the story going for me. Not sure if it was one I would’ve finished on my own if it wasn’t for her performance.

Overall, it’s an alright read if you like standard Zombie-apocalypse style books with a couple of surprises here and there.
