The Good – The primary narrator and Jeff Hayes do a good job 3/5. The premise of the story with they mimic is interesting.
The Bad – Everything else. The story is juvenile and not at all emotionally satisfying. The dialogue is painful and unrealistic. The overall story is just bad (in that it looks to have a good start but then gets a case of the stupids). Most of the female characters sound 12.
I can’t recommend this at all. It was a slog to finish and the ending was as weak as the second 2/3rds of the book (meaning it doesn’t get better).
This should be a hard pass.
