I listened to all the audio books from this series and I felt this last omnibus was the best of the three. All zombie books have some sort of “evil agency” that operates in the background of the main zombie story but this series takes that idea much further and that dynamic seems to take the lead…the United States is broken down into factions warring for control with a zombie backdrop for some flavor.
Overall the series was decent, but nothing overly new (other than what was noted above) and it is not something I would consider reading/listening to again.
If you’re a zombie fanatic or have a long car drive ahead of you, this could be a good listen for you.
