The narrator did a great job not making the women sound silly. I loved how many strong female characters we get (Curla, Ron, the healer, etc) and that our male protagonist is so respectful of them. I loved that this wasn’t a kill ’em all to level story, and we didn’t have to sit through a billion repeats of the MC’s stat sheet. It’s a neat twist on the “dungeon core” idea, having people get godcores and hero stones. Having a godcore attach to his cell phone is brilliant. Looking forward to audio versions of the rest of the books!
