I barely made it through the first book. Now, sixteen chapters into the second book, I’m still no closer to understanding what deal was made. How is Keldarion her mate when they’ve spent the least time together? He’s been sulking since book one. Rosalina consistently makes the worst choices and needs to be saved every time. The thorns helped her in the first book, and she’s still questioning how. I’m not captivated by this series. I feel like someone who’s been tied down and forced to listen to a never-ending pity party.
