The story started slowly, and I even had a hard time pushing myself to keep listening, but it got a lot better after the first few chapters and the final chapters were a whole lot better. The plot was good, not quite great, but honestly entertaining. I was expecting more hilarious moments or even some real moral struggles, but although quirky, the humor was a bit dry and the struggle juvenile. It was worth listening nonetheless, and was an interesting and new concept.

The narration by Jeffrey Later was pretty good, but I would have liked some more differentiation amongst characters. Also, his “evil voice” for Merciless, although pretty good, did get tiresome after a while. It was however a good narration and it did add to the story.
