While this book has its moments, I found it to be the weakest link in the series. My main concerns are twofold. Firstly, there are far too many shifts in character perspective. It’s rare to find consecutive chapters from the same viewpoint, which makes it difficult to fully engage with any particular storyline. Secondly, the resolutions to conflicts are consistently unsatisfactory. Most conflicts end with one side retreating or with minor victories, leaving the resolutions feeling underwhelming.
