This was a 3.5 and after many reviews I really would like to see audible make it a 10 point rating, some lesser books, like this, are worth the read but just not up to the 4 star stuff.
I really enjoyed the first part of the book, young girl in peril, smart and lucky enough to have been acquainted with the outdoors and survival. The second half of the book, more intense but somehow less satisfying. It was filled with action sequences but they didn’t delve enough into what some the characters were thinking, the action didn’t flow well.

The narrator, Kevin Pierce , was not bad, but not good enough to really draw you into the story. A little more emotion during action scenes, a little better differentiation of voices would help along with a more appropriate voice for the antagonist.

Overall I would give it 3.5 and I may read book 2 depending on reviews I read.
