This is the first book in the Small Town EMP, a post-apocalyptic trilogy. I like Grace Hamilton’s writing. This story is entertaining, intriguing, and suspenseful, filled with action, danger, violence, and twists and turns. I liked to follow Austin, Savannah, his 14-year-old daughter, and Amanda, a veterinarian, in this gripping adventure. The world building is enthralling. The cast of supporting characters is impressive. Maxwell Zener did an excellent job bringing this story to life. I enjoyed it. Looking forward to listening to Survive the Aftermath, the next book in the series, to know what happens next. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
