I don’t usually like multiple-voice acting on audiobooks and can’t stand “movie in your mind” audiobooks. This one is phenomenally well done. Kudos to Annie Ellicott, Jeff Hays, and their sound engineer(s). Annie did all the exposition + female voices, and Jeff Hays all the male voices + exposition for interludes with male POVs. No distracting music or special effects other than the chimes of announcements and that creeeeeeepy demon voice used for the entity Annie locked up. Super well done, I would love it if more audiobooks went this route.

The dungeon core, Tira, was a gem.

As far as the story, I did get lost a few times during battles, there were a lot of players, mobs, etc, to keep track of but I Zenned out and waited to find out what would happen, lol. I look forward to more books in the series, and more books by this author and these narrators.
