I can’t tell if I would have enjoyed this story as much reading a hard copy because the readers were so fantastic! I felt like I was watching a movie. I would really like to see this in a movie. One thing I didn’t love was how fast it wrapped up. There wasn’t closure with the role of the lady on the other side who told her she couldn’t go anywhere. 5 years is way too long to have not rebelled sooner. I wish the story was longer to give us more – there needs to be a sequel. This was a refreshing love story that was so well thought out with great conversations and normalized mental health issues. I’m grateful there wasn’t sex and crude language as I can recommend it to my children. Although some things were predictable I loved every second of it.
