For my 1st KA Tucker read, this was pretty good. Why is this the first one I have listened to you ask? Well I like dual narration, and this is the first ones I seen of hers that are in the Audible library for free..I am cheap 🙂
However, story wise? I really liked it. I do think Mercy does protest too much, so that could have been turned down a smidge and still get the point across that she has her reservations about Gabriel…I mean we all would…just a little.
The slow burn is great and when it finally happens, I was torn as to how I felt about it, due to the location. Still steamy AF though.
Noteworthy mention, ALEX KYDD…whereeeee did he come from?!?! He may be popping up on my top 5 list..his voice is smooth and SO hot.
If you have read KA and liked her, you would like this one as well. I am going to continue this series, since I am VERY interested as to how this plays out, due to the cliffhanger.
