This series was ok. I appreciate it’s an epic tale with a big ending, and that it’s neatly wrapped up in a trilogy, instead of sprawling out to a dozen books. For the most part, the harem characters are pretty simple.
I do like the “edda” (sp?) – that was a nice twist, although it was never really explained in depth. Just like how the AC Lens doesn’t make much sense. But still, a decent story overall. I appreciate that, although the protagonist is a hero of legendary renown, he still has challenges and makes mistakes.
