These books are a bit silly. They’re sweary. A lot of action. D&D meets really mean reality show.
I just finished book six. This first one is good and fun, and they just keep getting better. They’re funny and intricate and gross. Later, they’re also sweet and sad. And extra gross. I thought that there were several voice actors at first, but it’s all just Jeff Hayes. What a talent! You can watch him do readings on YouTube, and it’s amazing.
Some of my favorite books ever, and easily my favorite performance. The only other LitRPG I’ve read is the He Who Fights With Monsters series, which I like quite a bit.
