Oh Adriana Locke! She really delivered on making such an amazing multi-layered Hero. Troy is everything and so much more than I had hoped for! We have gotten to know him in many books previous to this one, but in this book we get to really fall in love with him! As for Dahlia, our Heroine, what can I say? She really is so strong and compassionate and funny and so sweet. I couldn’t have asked for better banter between the two of them! Dahlia is Troy’s assistant at the Landry Security company. They have been fighting their attraction to one another for 2 years. But when Dahlia’s life is threatened by a mystery person, Troy is there to protect her and figure out who is behind the threat and neutralize it. They are on the run, and you guessed it, there is only one bed. True feelings come to the surface and old woulds from both their pasts are shared and overcome.  
I loved this book because you get to have what we all know and love from Adriana’s books, family whether it be found or through blood combined with a new venture for Adriana, Romantic Suspense!
I’m a sucker for any type of mystery, a who dunnit. And this one DID NOT DISSAPOINT!!! The more unhinged the villian is, the better for me! It is my catnip!
I literally read this book in a couple of days and then as soon as I was at the last page, I flipped to the first page and read it all over again. Then I listened to the audiobook, it was so great hearing it brought to life! I hardly ever re-read books! I need all the other books in the Landry Security Series now. I’m assuming Theo will be next, lol??? Looking forward to more from Adriana Locke! Do yourself a favor and download the audiobook now! These narrators are chef kiss!!!
