I had given up on apocalyptic fiction … too many of the books I was buying were poorly written, with cookie-cutter story lines. Although these books aren’t especially original in terms of plot, they are well executed and believable. 10 stars for enjoyable! The one criticism I would have would be the totality of the collapse of just America. One would hope that food and gas, for example, could be available from foreign countries within a reasonably short period of time.
