I love a book with good snarky banter and Kit had plenty. Kit has a lot of resentment because of his epilepsy and how it has held him back from the ‘family business’ and Ethan is trying hard to not lose any more of the family he found with the Sawyers. Stuck together in the jungle because of an ancient Aztec crown they are force to confront their feelings for each other. It had a little bit of everything – action, snarky humor, magic, emotional moments and a HEA.
