This story is the second book in this series but can be listened as a standalone. You don’t really need to listen/read book 1 to pick up on this story. This story is a second chance romance between the h and H. the h was interested in the H as soon as she came out to society but, for personal reasons, the H wasn’t ready to marry. they are forced to marry to save her reputation and go through the motions of a happy marriage in public even though both of them really love each other.The story is well written and the narrator did a great job.
