I’m not a Zack hater, he’s doing what he thinks is right, but his story is incredibly boring, specifically the beginning, I was paying more attentionto the chores I was doing than the book (that’s bad). The first book was excellent and got me hooked and this being focused on another character felt like a bit of a betrayal of the story I was reading. Also minus 1 start for using the character/time jumping literary style when it’s effectiveness is waning as well as the multiple side stories and character sheets for characters no one cares about.
