started off a little underwhelming.. Got better as the story progressed. there were a lot of characters to keep track of, but overall the story was written well, and the storyline was more believable than many SHTF books. The only one thing that I didn’t really care for, and is common for EMP books is the lack of reality regarding an event like this. if an EMP is detonated somewhere in the center of the US, it wouldn’t be strong enough to take out nearly the whole country. You would need several of them to effect everything The way the book has depicted it.. still searching for that one that gets it right. The story was entertaining, and Rich though. a great rain overall
