this series is the series that has forced me to bite the bullet and actually leave a review. I never leave reviews because I don’t want to influence someone else’s reading but this series is just perfection. I sincerely hope there are more books in the future because I love Chevy & Seneca (& Jinx). Joel Leslie’s narroration is phenomenal as always, but pairing it with the quick witty banter makes it that much more satisfying. I love that the plot of the first book drives the action of the second, we’ve gotten to know the world and our MCs, now we get to see how the strength and fears gained have impacted who each character is. I want a book from Seneca’s POV now, especially with their powers growing. love love love these 2, please give me more!
side note – the pillowcase aspect is the lighthearted touch this book needed to keep it going. 10/10 would recommend.
