Why does Siobhan always have to break my heart?!?! At least she does a damn good job of putting it back together though. This book was so heartbreakingly beautiful. Like many of Siobhan’s books, the angst was top tier, there was strong character growth, and the emotion she poured onto every page just pulled you in and did not let you go! Stevie was such a strong character who was faced with an almost impossible decision. The story just shows how complicated love can really be and how no matter what, you should always follow your heart.
For the audiobook, I loved that it was duet narration. I always prefer that over any other narration as I feel like it helps the listener become more immersed in the story. Although, I wasn’t always a fan of the male voices, they just didn’t quite fit what I had expected since I had previously read the books before listening. But it was still a great listen.
