This was unlistenable…. The narrator wasn’t bad, but the story, characters, pacing, and plot were absolute awful. I couldn’t make it more than a few hours and after multiple tries, am regretting even the few dollars spent while this was on sale. Based on the stereotypes, poor believability and just general ignorance of the world, if you asked me to guess at what the author was like, I’d assume he was an overweight boomer consumed with paranoia and living in some remote region of the US like a hermit… turns out I was dead on when I looked him up.
