What did you like best about Days of Panic? What did you like least?
I liked the idea of centering around regular people just before, under and after the attack. I also liked following a group of people, and their perspectives, in a case such as this.

What I do not like is the cliche backstories. I know it is hard to make them unique, and even more so with limited space to digress into all the different backgrounds, but it makes it a bit too theatrical. I would have liked more ordinary people, with no theatrical backgrounds, but just small things, that builds their perspectives on life.

What was the most interesting aspect of this story? The least interesting?
The most interesting is the fact that it deals with the events just as they happen. The least interesting is the shallow side stories, which were a bit to classical and not deep enough to build different personalities – albeit the story does hint at it with preconceptions to former prisoners etc.
What do you think the narrator could have done better?
It is an above average, easy to understand narrator. To be better, he would have to be able to imitate different voices better. That could have been good, since the reader has to follow the perspectives from different people in this story.
If this book were a movie would you go see it?
Yes, it is basically like reading an action movie.
Any additional comments?
I enjoyed it so much I might listen to the sequel. I will for sure keep an eye on the writer.
