I definitely recommend listening to the first of the series so you don’t get lost, but you won’t be disappointed. The author does a great job of character and storyline development. I think more details of the journeys to Colorado could have been added, but I understand the author’s need to condense the story to fit certain requirements.
The narrator does a wonderful job providing context and bringing the characters to life. Overall it’s an enjoyable series that I recommend to anyone that’s into post apocalyptic stories.
