So, the story overall is definitely entertaining. I have a few specific issues with the entire series, as a whole, but I will still recommend it. The story has points where it jumps around and gets a hit confusing as to what is going on in timeline continuity. I also hold issue with the naming of the majority of Terrance ships being connected to US history and presidents. It’s a long time in the future and a big world. If we’re still fighting as a nation identity planet, we’re not going to be in space. I also held issue with the use of the “AR-15″in book one being the trusted weapon of Ben. We’re way in the future and there would have had to be much better weapons built between the time that AR was around, originally. I also find Ben to be a bit whiney for a lot longer than he should be. Aside from that, I have a few other issues but not gonna dive too deep here. Definitely a book series I’m invested in.
