This was my first book by this author and I loved it! It’s a dark bully romance with many triggers so be sure to check those before starting.
Quinton is the epitome of a bad boy and he is Aspens enemy from the beginning. He bullies her from beginning almost to the end, but he also is the only one looking out for her too. I’m so intrigued with this trilogy and I have SO many questions. What happened to his sister? What happened with Wren? And that Cliffhanger has me on the edge of my seat! I cannot wait to start the second book to see how this story continues to play out.
The Audio was great too, I thought Zara did a wonderful job with Aspens voice and I liked Connor’s voice for Q too!

WHAT WAS THAT ENDING!? I need to start the next one ASAP. This book had me feeling so many things from beginning to end. Aspen is truly such a strong FMC. I love her character and how resilient she is even with all the trauma and struggles she’s going through, she continues to push on.
Quinton’s character develops a lot in this book as well! I love how he now has a soft spot for Aspen and how he takes care of her without even meaning to. Their relationship isn’t conventional in the least, but I really enjoyed reading it too. Matteo can seriously jump off a cliff. I haven’t hated a secondary character this much in so long and I still feel iffy about Xander and Ren. But overall such a good story and I’m excited to start the third book!
The Audio was fantastic. I think both narrators did a phenomenal job and pink flamingos production brought the story to life.

This was an absolutely perfect ending to this story. I loved it from beginning to end, but this book especially was my favorite. Aspen and Quinton’s story wasn’t easy and it definitely had some really hard moments. My heart ached for Aspen throughout the book. Her struggles and traumas were so real and I just wanted to give her a big hug. Quinton was truly such a good boyfriend to her even when he wasn’t supposed to be with her.
“For Aspen, I’ll do anything, kill anyone. I’ll burn the fucking world down for her.”
I am a huge fan of a possessive MC and that’s exactly Quinton. I loved how he supported her after her trauma and how he started to be open with his feelings. Their relationship really grew and developed and I was here for it. His parents were seriously some of my favorite parents I’ve read about in a while and I LOVED Lucas in this book too! I saw the next book was his and I cannot wait to read it! Overall, loved this book and can’t recommend it enough.
The audio was wonderful. Pink flamingo did a great job with the production and I really enjoyed both the narrators voices in this story.
