This is a very well written story. I enjoyed the idea of bringing in a wide range of characters and having them all fall together to create a new storyline. The wide ranging scope of the story really adds depth and flavor with a Homeless Vet, a bike messenger, an ex-con and a support rep, all thrown together after the emp.
The characters are all likeable and very detailed and not one dimensional. I am looking forward to buying book 2 in the series.
Kevin Pierce does an amazing job of fleshing out the characters and giving them life. He is a Great Narrator!! I always grab the books he narrates when I see them – you always know you are in for a great tale!
