I enjoyed Book 2 of Caffeine Daydream and can’t wait for Book 3. The narration, however, was half lackluster. Joel Leslie is one of my favorite narrators and one of the best at what he does. He brings so much life to a character and engages the listener. This pairing with David George was not a good one. The vast difference in energy and talent between the narrators was distracting for me and it decreased my enjoyment of Kai and Silas’ love story. I do like this author and this series and look forward to the next installment.
