While I had not read any of Jack Hunt’s book prior to this I would say that hearing Kevin Peirce’s voice made the book gel with several of my other favorites from this genre. Hunt’s writing was solid, laced with enough prepper knowledge to let you know that he either is one or did some serious research. The story flowed well despite being told from numerous perspectives. I initially didn’t follow the switches between characters but once I started paying attention to the names and what their backstories were, it made sense. From a purely practical view, the team approach to this problem worked well. Kevin Peirce’s narration was solid, as always. I like that the story flows through his voice, without any distracting habits that some other narrators have. “Full Disclosure: I received this book for free in exchange for my honest and unbiased review.”
