I like Joel Leslie’s work with Sloane Kennedy’s writing, although his way of speaking is distinctive enough that the voices across books can start to sound the same.
Kennedy’s men are always interesting, and if you like one of the Protectors, you’ll likely love them all. The story lines vary enough to be individually enjoyable–I’ve re-read some more than others, but all more than once–but her style overall is consistent enough that she’s an auto-buy for me.
