This world continues to improve, with deepening emotional consequences, and original magic system extensions. As always, Jeff Hayes and the sound booth theater group lend a fantastic performance, elevating the source material. This book was all about Tony, and his growing confidence as a warrior. Unfortunately, There is less interaction between Jason and Henry, the two ostensible leads, because the group has been separated for much of the novel. The end is very exciting but perhaps a bit rushed. This small complaint aside, I continue to look forward to each addition to this series. The queen is dead,Long live the King!
