So I enjoyed the character development a lot. This author does a great job with that in all of his books. The story isn’t bad, it’s just so redundant. Its basically the same theme in all of his books- some computer nerds and a couple girls take a couple Krav Maga or Karate classes and turn into bullet proof terminators who end up banding with ex military guys and repeatedly fight against impossible odds against trained armies and even though they suffer countless bullet wounds, knife wounds, and repeated serious head traumas, they call upon their limited martial arts expertise to time and time again beat back literal hundreds of well armed, well trained troops. Through all of it none of these blood thirsty patriots kill, torture and maim the enemy while never uttering one single curse word. Even facing imminent death, they find a way to “freaking” kill all of the “mother frickers”. Lol. It’s downright bizarre.

It’s worth a credit due to it being the complete series. Just really drags after a while when it’s just the same thing repeated over and over. This is the second series I read by this author. Maybe I’m just getting burned out on his style. There are some really fun, exciting, and entertaining hours. For me it just became a grind getting through the last 7 hours or so
