Basically everything I said in my last review is still true if not extra true. But with one major addition. A luck mechanic was officially introduced. And then worshipped with careless abandon. No more cleverness, skill or anything left. Just everything solved arbitarily through lucky breaks. Sure maybe theoretically its not much different than most stories. but normally the suspension of disbelief lets it be ignored. With the luck mechanic in the book and so relentlessly abused for everything. Not even a well maintained suspension of disbelief protects one.

In top of that it was made clear that the only reason the main characters are so strong is because no one in the whole world, ever thought to experiment with their powers

The only reason I didnt 1 star it was because the one thing the author does well is present the overpowered characters. By focusing on people’s reactions, the author nailed that sense of glee. But thats just worth one star if that.
