absolutely loved the first book with all the unique powers and potential. this one skips all that to go in another direction with monster types instead. furthermore elements of the sigil online game design completely destroy immersion as any game with such bad design would not exist let alone be poplar, and it just keeps getting worse throughout the book.
still a good read, but I’ll be weary of the next release…
