The Storm Before the Storm is a wild fast paced action adventure. No spoilers, but I will say the majority of the book plays out more like a well done men’s adventure story rather than your typical post-apocalyptic novel. This is Joe Russell’s first book and I have to say I am quite impressed. I look forward to the next in the series, and I also must say after finishing the book I think the title is perfect.
Kevin Pierce is one of my favorite narrators and is without a doubt THE voice for survival fiction, and as always he does a fantastic job.
