I have encountered multiple books that feature “dungeon crawling”. I read a few and decided it was not my thing. I thought LitRPG in general was not my thing either until I encountered a few GOOD ones.
This series is LitRPG and Dungeon Crawling…two genres I have struggled with… and so far it has made me love BOTH.
It’s not just the narrator saving the book either. I have encountered books that suck but I enjoyed the narrator so much that I powered through. This is not the case here. The narrator (Jeff Hayes AND the author/story itself are friggin’ magnificent!!!
I can easily see myself using most of my credits to finish this series.
I normally lose my 💩 when the narrator rolls off stats and XPs, but these are so hilariously written that I can’t wait to hear them.
🦶🏻The feet thing. I cackle every. single. time.
I generally don’t laugh out loud when listening, but I have done so multiple times during this book.
I am purchasing the next book as soon as I am done writing this review.
