Jeff Hays did an amazing job on this book. I was impressed with his how he portrayed different races voices. The book was interesting as a litRPG and I liked how the author didn’t constantly go through leveling options and skills. I feel like with litRPG’s the story can get bogged down by skill point allocation. I was drawn in as a reader to the world and enjoyed the magic concept. I was not happy with the ending and feel like the real world storyline took away from the RPG storyline. Maybe it will be cleared up with the second book.
