This is mainly a character-driven story. As with most apocalyptic fiction, it’s highly speculative. However, it does not focus on doom as so many such stories do. It does present many challenges and much action to keep the reader riveted.
Kevin Pierce delivers his customary outstanding performance. Pacing and voicing are spot on.
